Ensuring Equipment Reliability During Training

It’s crucial that our operators understand not just how to use orthopedic equipment but also how to ensure its reliability. During a recent training workshop, I noticed a few common misconceptions about handling and maintaining these devices, which can lead to issues down the line. Sharing real-world experiences and solutions can really enhance our training sessions and ultimately improve patient safety.

And i totally get that. During our last training, we had a session on the importance of daily equipment checks. One simple tip was to create a checklist that operators can use before each shift to ensure everything’s in top shape.
